By creating an account or using APAO Health Link, you agree to these terms. Last updated: July 2026.

The service

APAO Health Link is a platform for issuing digital prescriptions, dispensing medications, requesting and delivering laboratory and imaging investigations, and keeping a shared record of a patient's care across participating facilities.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your password confidential.
Hospital, pharmacy and diagnostic accounts are activated after review by our team. You must have the authority to register the facility.
Clinical roles (doctor, pharmacist, lab technician, radiologist, facility administrator) must only be assigned to appropriately qualified individuals.

Acceptable use

Do not access patient records except to provide care, dispense medications, run investigations, or perform administrative duties you are authorised for.
Do not share your account, and do not attempt to bypass the platform's security controls.
Do not use the platform to prescribe or dispense in a way that breaches Ghanaian law or professional guidelines.

Clinical responsibility

APAO Health Link supports clinical workflows but does not itself provide medical advice. Prescribing, dispensing, interpreting investigation results, and any clinical decision remain the responsibility of the licensed professional making them.

Payments

Where the platform records payments (online payments with card or mobile money, or counter sales), the recorded amount and channel are a record of what the pharmacy or facility captured. Refunds, disputes and receipts are handled between you and the facility.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or that pose a risk to patient safety or to other users. You can close your own account at any time; some records may be retained as described in theprivacy policy.

Availability and disclaimer

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the platform reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, APAO Health Link and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
